Meet Dr. Monisha Rao

Dr. Rao is a Board-Certified Pediatrician with over 25 years of experience providing compassionate, high-quality, and individualized care to children and their families. She believes that effective communication and collaboration are the cornerstones of building strong relationships with patients. Through education, she empowers families to take an active role in their children’s care and achieve their health goals.

A Ventura native, Dr. Rao received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychobiology at UCLA. She then pursued her medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed her residency at the University of Chicago Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Rao decided to return to Ventura to give back to the community where she was raised. Since joining Camarillo Children’s Medical Group (CCMG) in 2000, she has been dedicated to serving the families of Ventura County.

Dr. Rao is committed to providing personalized, thoughtful care to every young patient, guiding them as they grow into healthy, thriving adults.
